Autographed Copies & Cyber Monday Sale!

Cameron Hatheway

I hope everyone had a lovely Thanksgiving, stuffing themselves silly. Amanda and I visited her family up in Thousand Oaks and had a delicious time. I brought Brussels sprouts cooked with bacon and balsamic vinegar (absolutely delightful), and Amanda made her stunning onion gravy. I may never eat brown gravy again, hers is so marvelous.

As is the case after every Thanksgiving, Black Friday is immediately upon us, kicking-off the official holiday shopping spree. I treated myself to a Buy One, Get One T-Shirt sale Out of Print was having (my favorite store), before thinking of others. I'll get to everyone else eventually! But with today being Cyber Monday, I figured it would be the best time for me to slash my price for MORSELS OF DELIGHT from $7.99 to $4.99 for the rest of the month on Amazon. So you'll be able to get my New Fork Times Best-Selling collection of short stories for just one Abe Lincoln this Monday through Friday! They make for great stocking stuffers, presents, and fuel to roast chestnuts with.

The announcements don't stop there! I've also included a link in the Books section of my website for Autographed copies of MORSELS OF DELIGHT. I was toying around with the idea, and figured why not give it a try. I personally love owning works signed by the authors I enjoy, and for all I know there are like-minded eccentrics such as myself who would welcome the opportunity to get something personalized by yours truly. The $10 price tag gets you a personalized message and signature, and covers shipping via media mail if you live in the U.S. If you live abroad and are interested, reach out and we'll discuss what the best shipping method might be. So if you're interested, click the "Buy Now" button and it will take you directly to my PayPal. Perhaps I'll even attempt to attend a convention in the coming year to sell/sign copies. I can see it now: renting a table, sitting there all weekend with stacks of MORSELS and sketches of Fugus, slowly wasting away as everyone passes me by, until one of my friends purchases a copy out of pity. Living the dream of a writer!

In other news, a few more Hollow Press books I helped copy edit the English translations of are now available and have been added to the Other Published Works section: Danilo Manzi's SYMPTOMS OF THE DARK and Paolo Massagli's LIKE AN INSECT. I was especially excited to work on Massagli's new graphic novel because I've been a big fan of him ever since I first saw his stories in U.D.W.F.G. Vol. 1 back in the day. His style is so eerie and twisted, yet undeniably beautiful. Don't tell him I said this, but I plan on commissioning him to do the cover of THE PATCH when I eventually finish it because I think his style would work extremely well with the creatures I describe in the book. Fingers crossed!

I hope to have another blog post before the end of the year, but as many of you know, the holidays cause chaos and confusion to all. November felt like it just raced by in the span of a few days, and I have no doubt December will be the same, if not quicker. So in the meantime, be well, and the next glass of Scotch we share is on me.
